Children's ClassesTending to the needs of the children in a neighbourhood, these classes offer children lessons that develop spiritual faculties and lay the foundation of a noble and upright character in a fun and creative environment. The classes help children learn to think, reflect and apply spiritual principles in their lives and society.
There are several children's classes going on in Kelowna for children 5 - 11 years old and more can be started by request. |
Devotional GatheringsDevotional gatherings allow individuals to unite with others in prayer, awaken spiritual susceptibilities, and shape a pattern of life distinguished for its devotional character. Prayers and writings from many world religions are reflected upon in a reverent atmosphere. After which discussion flows and refreshments are served.
Think about attending a devotional gathering or hosting your own! There are several regular gatherings currently being offered through individual initiative in Kelowna. The program for each varies by host. All are welcome to attend. |
Study CirclesCircles of study, open to all, enable people of varied backgrounds to advance on an equal footing and explore the Bahá'í teachings and how to apply them to a life of service. The participants learn to see themselves as protagonists in their constant effort to apply knowledge to effect individual and collective transformation. Study Circles follow the curriculum created by the Ruhi Institute with topics such as, "Reflections on the Life of the Spirit", "Arising to Serve", "Teaching Children's Classes", "The Twin Manifestations", "Releasing the Powers of Junior Youth", "Teaching the Cause", "Walking Together on a Path of Service".
There are always new study circles starting up at any given time and several people who are willing to start them up by request as well. |
